Course content
- The student takes a coaching practice in a swimming club, - The student produces a seminar paper on the coaching practice, - The student has consultations with the lecturer.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 150 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 13 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide the students with practical experience in order to apply for a class II swimming coach licence. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
- The student applies theoretical knowledge about swimming and swimming sports in practice, - The student knows training methods suitable for increasing swimming performance, - The student is able to describe basic training methods used in swimming training, - The student is knowledgeable about periodization of swimming training, - The student is able to select suitable aids for swimming training.
Prerequisites
Completion of KAS/SPPL4 exam.
