Course content
Methodology of training and improvement of specialised athletic disciplines. Deeper knowledge about the planning and delivery of training camps, competitions and management of an athletic club.

Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Training in job and motor Skils

Learning outcomes
Throughout the follow-up athletics specialisation course the students will have an opportunity to obtain a class II athletics coach qualification as a part of Master's study of PE with study programmes PE and sport or teaching in secondary schools; the students will also meet exam requirements. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
Upon completion of the course the student is able to distinguish and understand a problem in athletic training and suggest a method of addressing the problem. The student uses acquired knowledge and experience during practical training. The student learns about the basics of athletics for physically impaired individuals.
Prerequisites
The course is designed exclusively for students of the follow-up Master's study at FTK UP ? holders of athletics coach licence of class III and higher.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

SPAT1, SPAT2, SPAT3, SPAT4 or KSPA1, KSPA2, KSPA3,KSPA4 or SAT1,SAT2,SAT3, SAT4 or KSAT1,KSAT2,KSAT3,KSAT4and at least two-year experience in an athletic club in the capacity of a coach.
