Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to teach and improve the technical performance of basic gymnastic skills and exercise forms in artistic gymnastics: floor, pommel horse, still rings and balance beam. Another aim is to develop physical fitness and cultivate physical activity expression in students. Information about this course was translated to English within the project Internationalization of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Palacký University, Olomouc, No. CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0028, co-funded by the European Social Fund and the Government of the Czech Republic.
The student is capable of individual practical performance of basic exercise forms on various equipment: floor, pommel horse, still rings, balance beam. |
Prerequisites |
The student has knowledge and command of movement skills in elementary gymnastics (applied exercise, gymnastic posture, basic positions of the body and body parts, terminology of basic positions and movements, drill practice).

Student performance
Active participation in seminars. Command of and practical performance of elementary exercise forms and series on various gymnastic equipment (floor, pommel horse, still rings, balance beam) as specified at http://courseware.upol.cz. |
