Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to broaden the knowledge of the mechanisms of momentum control in everyday, professional and sporting activities. It introduces the sensorimotor regulation of human motor activities in health, disease and after injury. It builds on the knowledge acquired in courses that dealt with neurophysiological mechanisms of movement and their disorders in previous studies. Attention is focused on the application of theoretical knowledge in pedagogical, sports and medical practice in which future graduates of the doctoral programme will work. The topics of the assigned papers are chosen in the context of the content of the dissertation in preparation. The main topics are: Development of sensorimotor mechanisms in ontogeny. Mechanisms of motor control - gross and fine motor skills. Evaluation of human motor manifestations by field and laboratory methods (with a focus on methods corresponding to the dissertation topic). Diagnostics of motor disorders. Motor learning. Management of motor disorders by methods based on knowledge of neurophysiological mechanisms.
