Learning outcomes
By completing the course, the student will gain an understanding of specific topics in social psychology. Individual theoretical areas are applicable to everyday life. The student will thus gain the possibility of practical application of the acquired knowledge. Topics: 1. Introduction to social psychology 2. Perception and assessment of other people 3. Interpersonal attractiveness 4. Interpersonal relationships 5. Socialization, social learning 6. Attitudes 7. Social communication 8. Social conflicts, assertiveness 9. Aggression 10. Prosocial behaviour 11. Social groups 12. Conformity 13. Influences of social groups
Students will acquire the skills of syllabus course.
Prerequisites
Interest for the subject. Basic orientation in general psychology. The condition is completion of the course Introduction to Social Psychology.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark, Written exam, Student performance, Seminar Work

Active involvement into the lectuers. Conditions for granting course credit is at least 70% successful in the written test. Creating a presentation on a chosen topic in a group and then presenting it.
