Course content
Socialization of motives Motives of existence and affirmation (militancy, safety, profit, self-actualization) Motives of interpersonal relationships (gregar, altruism) Afiliation (concept and definitions, sources) Aggression (the concept of biological, behavioral, psychological) Performance Obedience and humility Moral consciousness (the concept, structure, development, change) Social attitudes (concept, types, dimensions, structure) Attitudinal clusters (research Adorno, Eycenck and Rokeach) Function of attitudes and prejudices Formation, resistance and change attitudes Values Prejudice and ethnic stereotypie Theory of attitudes (balance theory, cognitive dissonance, Function Theory) Anti-democratic orientation and authoritarian personality Political orientation and autoritarity

Lecture
  • Homework for Teaching - 10 hours per semester

Learning outcomes
Expansion and completion of the issue of the effects of socialization: - Socialization of partial mental processes (perception, thinking, emotions, moral consciousness); - Socialization needs, including analysis of major social themes; - Social attitudes (the formation, change, stereotypes, prejudices) - Measurement of social attitudes
Using knowledge for understanding of the effects of socialization processes with regard to perception, learning, thinking, emotions, motivation, including the development of social attitudes and prejudices.
