Course content
The course consists of three thematic blocks: - Introduction to epidemiology, sensitivity and specificity of a test, ROC analysis, procedures for determining the threshold value. - Item response theory (IRT), basic IRT models, DIF analysis and other techniques, adaptive testing, comparison IRT and CTT. - Structural modelling (path analysis, confirmatory factor analysis).

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide students with advanced methods of construction and quality assessment of psychodiagnostic tests.
Students will understand the principles of advanced methods of working with psychometric data and a construction of psychodiagnostic tests. They will also be able to the situations in which the introduced methods can be affectively used and the will be able to interpret their results.
Prerequisites
The prerequisite is a basic knowledge of psychometric theories, within the scope of Psychometrics 1. Since much of the knowledge will be of a practical nature, at least a basic knowledge of the R programming language is welcome.

Mark, Written exam, Analysis of Creative works (Music, Pictorial,Literary), Dialog

The course is finished with a credit and an exam. Students receive credit for active participation in lessons. Due to the conversational nature of the course, students are not tested - they demonstrate their knowledge by interacting with the teacher during class.
