Course content
|
Introduction to psychodiagnostic methods that are not part of the compulsory diagnostic training. The course includes detailed discussion of case studies and the solution of differential diagnostic questions. Students are introduced to the clinical case, the clinical procedure and the results of the various psychodiagnostic methods used.

Learning outcomes
|
Diagnostic strategies of the basic types of problems and mental disorders. Familiarization with testing batteries, clinical approach and subsequent therapeutical consulting practice.
Comptence in the range of the subject goals. The aim of this course is to acquire advanced skills in psychidiagnostic methods on selected case studies. Students know advanced methods of working procedures in assessment of psychodiagnostic tests. Students apply theoretical experience to psychological examination using selected psychodiagnostic methods.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam, Written exam
An examination that focuses on the knowledge acquired through self-study of the basic (compulsory literature). The main focus is on the differential diagnostic features of the individual categories of mental and behavioural disorders, according to the current classification of the ICD, with the addition of differential diagnostic information from the current DSM classification.
