Definition of school psychology (concepts in the world and in our country), what all falls under it - introduction of topics Development of the field in the world and in our country - historical and legislative definition Adaptation and acceptance of SP in schools Specifics of SP work in primary and secondary school Introduction to the concept of SPP and the related network 1 (system of schools and school guidance centers) Cooperation of the school psychologist with other entities in the school 1 Cohesion and adaptation courses Ethics in school counseling 1 Classroom climate, school climate, and school evaluation Self-care, interviewing, and supervision of the SP Case studies Research activities in the Czech Republic in the field of SP

Learning outcomes
|
School psychology is currently becoming a field that begins to establish at schools and in the future it envisages school policy. It is therefore necessary to know the context of its creation, orientation as to what place it has in the system educ.-psych.advice, what research method is used.
Competences acquired Knowledge - student: - will be able to describe principles of provision of school psychological services, - to explain the relationship network of the school and the functions of its bodies, - knows the principles of adaptation program creating, - knows diagnostic methods used in the work of school psychologist, - to explain the appropriate procedures for working with different types of class collectives. Skills - the student: - is able to create a program of the adaptation for specific school - applies the principles of good practice for the psychological assessment of the child - applies the principles of good practice of assessment and intervention when working with class collectives

Assessment methods and criteria

Seminar Work, Written exam
Active interest in the discipline. Tracking information on school psychology on the Internet. Monitoring of current events concerning legislative changes in connection with school psychology. Visit to the school counselling centre - one day work of school psychologist at school. Own experience with psychological counselling (as agreed with the teacher). Knowledge and understanding of the issue.
