Course content
Structure of the course covers the following topics: Basics MMPI-2 - History of methods - revision, the general procedures for creating scales - Overview of Methods - A brief summary scales, familiarity with computerized versions - Administration - conditions, assumptions on the part of the administrator and the client, complications and factors impeding administration - Scoring - computer evaluation, demonstration and description of the protocol, linear and uniform T-scores - Detailed overview of clinical, content, additional scales, their basic configurations, critical items - Code Types The concept of validity MMPI-2 - Validated scales - a detailed presentation, the basic configuration validation scales - Procedures for assessing the validity of the protocol - Items ommision, filling consistency, accuracy filling (over-, underreporting) - Practical Part 1 - assessment of the validity of the own protocol Evaluation and interpretation - Assessment of the defense mechanisms in the MMPI-2 - Evaluation and interpretation of scale clusters - Practical demonstrations of MMPI-2 in relation with other diagnostic methods (especially Rorschach test - Typical protocols significant psychopathological circuits in the form of case studies - Practical Part 2 - independent evaluation of the whole procedure

Learning outcomes
MMPI-2 is one of the advanced techniques of psychological diagnostic. Students will be acquainted with that instrument, including self-administration, evaluation methods and possibilities of interpretation.
