  • Preparation for the Course Credit - 40 hours per semester
  • Preparation for the Exam - 30 hours per semester
  • Homework for Teaching - 45 hours per semester
  • Attendace - 10 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Basics of coding and the most common method of qualitative data analysis are studied. Students will also learn how to manage the ATLAS.ti program 8.
- Preparation of qualitative data - Qualitative data coding - Creation of interpretative networks - basics of ATLAS.ti 8 software
Prerequisites
Completion of ZM1K and ZM2K (1st-grade courses). Completion of QM (2nd-grade).

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Student performance, Didactic Test, Seminar Work

The final oral exam consists of two parts: 1) examination of theoretical knowledge (weight in the total result of about 40%) Drawing up one theoretical question from 10 corresponding to the syllabus of the subject. 2) Introducing students own project and demonstrating the skill to control ATLAS.T 8 and its main functions (Weight in the total result of about 60%) The minimum project parameters are: 3 Primary Documents (PDs) 30 Codes 10 links between codes 1 final Network 2 memos Plus groups of these elements The project may have any topic that must, of course, relate to psychology at least. The student must be able to present it, ie to interpret the resulting analysis. 1) trial version of ATLAS.ti 8: http://atlasti.com/free-trial-version/ 2) powerpoint presentations 3) ATLAS.ti 8 WindowsQuick Tour: http://downloads.atlasti.com/quicktour/QuickTour_a8_en.pdf?_ga=1.103684416.1798649392.1493159280 4) ATLAS.ti YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8CTEdsSSmZEdst4E2bJ06Gp9VeE3fouV 5) Study literature: Salda?a, J.
