Course content
|
Objective: To introduce students to the basics of psychiatric terminology History of mental health care Important personalities of Czech and world psychiatry, current trends in psychiatry Disorders of perception, thinking, consciousness and attention, emotions, intellect, memory, impulses, and will conduct Personality Pharmacotherapy of mental disorders (neuroleptics, antidepressants, anxiolytics, stabilizers afektivity) ECT, Sleep, Sleep Disorders Treatment Psychiatric First Aid and estimate the risk of suicide-related events Psychotherapy Forensic Psychiatrist, mental status of patients in a democratic society Rehabilitation and long-term rehabilitation of the mentally ill

Psychiatric syndromes. Disorders of impulses, consciousness, behavior, thinking, emotivity, personality. Overview of basic topics of general psychopathology including the cause, classification and treatment of mental illnesses and conditions.
