Learning outcomes
The goal of the course is to introduce students to methods, tools, and theories of the basic psychological discipline. The course constitutes the second part of an inseparable pair of work (industrial) and organizational psychology.
Student can - describe the goals and methods of organizational psychology - explain cognitive satisfaction, its determinants, and its relation to job performance - explain the meaning of emotions and different emotional bonds for work environment and satisfaction - introduce basic constructs of leader emergence and leadership effectiveness - define differences between workgroup and team - describe care methods about workgroup and team - define the role of organizational culture and its characteristics - describe the sources of well-being impairment in an organizational environment - describe approaches to justice in work - define the meaning of diversity for organizational outcomes

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam, Seminar Work

Students fulfill the course expectations through the point system: Daily students: Pre-exam credit min. 5 points. - Credit test, 0 or 5 points (5 points are for taking the test regardless of the result). - Study task processing - 0 or 35 points. The exam will take place in written form (test): max. 100 points. - The sum of the points will determine the success in the exam and the grade. - Exam (incl. pre-exam credit): A 140 - 85, B 84 - 75, C 74 - 65, D 64 - 58, E 57 -50, F 49 and less. Part-time students: Pre-exam credit: min. 5 points - Active participation in the face-to-face lecture: 10 points (2 x 5). - Study task processing - 0 or 30 points. The exam will take place in written form (test): max. 100 points. - The sum of the points will determine the success in the exam and the grade. - Exam (incl. pre-exam credit): A 140 - 85, B 84 - 75, C 74 - 65, D 64 - 58, E 57 -50, F 49 and less.
