Course content
|
The content of the seminars will be a deeper introduction of the student to the topic of the holistic concept of man in medicine, both in the context of history and contemporary concepts. In individual chapters, we will theoretically focus on: - the history of psychosomatic thinking - a brief introduction to the newly created concept of psychosomatic medicine as medical interdisciplinary field created by the Society of Psychosomatic Medicine ČLS JEP - the principles of the biopsychosocial concept of illness and health - causes of psychosomatic problems in patients - characteristics of psychosomatic symptoms and syndromes in relation to personality and psychosocial determinants of the sick - an overview of the most common psychosomatic diseases with a description of their symptoms and referring to their psychosocial context. On a practical level, students will be introduced to: - with taking anamnestic data in a psychosomatic sense - with a psychotherapeutic technique of the focusing type emphasizing bodily experience (self experience).

Relationship between physical and mental. The basics of the holistic outlook on health and illness (from history to the present)
Summarily overview of the complex problem of psychosomatic health and disease context, sebezkušenost the psychophysical organism's own responses to different stimuli, the possibility of a deeper interest in any of the numerous approaches to psychosomatic problems

Interest in the issue, basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and psychopathology, the ability of synthetic thinking, interest sebezkušenost, interest in future work in clinical practice

Systematic Observation of Student
Active participation in teaching, the ability to discuss, willingness to undergo the practical psychotherapeutic techniques aimed at the physical experience
