Pedagogical and psychological issues in practice relationship of development and learning child's motivation to learn education questions - how to treat the child as tutor

Learning outcomes
|
By tutoring a pupil in one of the elementary schools in Olomouc, the student will gain experience with his own educational activities and at the same time, through contact with the school psychologist of the given school, he will become more familiar with the functioning of the school's counseling office.
The student will gain experience from working with a child during tutoring, will have an overview of education and learning issues, will know the basic literature on the topic, will get to know the world of school from the home preparation side.

Interest in school issues, learning and development of school-age children, experience working with children.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance
Before practice: - participation in the initial meeting with the practice guarantor and cooperating school psychologists - establish contact with the assigned family by September 30 (for the purposes of supervision, at least 1 tutoring must be carried out) During practice: - implementation of 8 teaching hours (i.e. 45 minutes) with the assigned pupil; - participation in two supervisions with the school psychologist of the given school (interim and final); - compliance with ethical principles (see the link to the "Patron's Code" below). After practice: - submitting the final reflection (via Moodle, where there is also a downloadable reflection form); - handing in a certificate of completed practice with the signature of the student's legal representative (also via Moodle, where the form can be downloaded) - the signed certificate can be uploaded as a scan or photo.
