Course content
The seminar will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at 13:00. Seminar is meant for the second year students of the doctoral studying programmes. It will be always realised at the end of the summer term. Members of the department of the psychology, especially members of the branch board for clinical and pedagogical psychology, and other Ph.D. students will take part in it. Firstly, student will present existing progress in his/her dissertation thesis processing and research results. He/she will focus on various problems, unclearness, and difficulties. There will be reserved 20 minutes for presentation. A discussion with members of the department and other Ph.D. students who will critically evaluate an actual version of the dissertation and recommend next steps.

Learning outcomes
A critical evaluation of the extent to which the dissertation?s was elaborated during the second year of the doctoral studies. A discussion on possible theoretical, methodological, or statistical problems with the research data processing. Obtaining new information for the next procedure.
A presentation of the theoretical and research findings, a discussion on possible methodological and statistical problems during the data collection and processing.

A participation in the seminar, prepared presentation, evident progress in elaboration of the dissertation thesis.
