Course content
Course annotation: 1) Ethical principles of the work of a school psychologist 2) School psychologist and his relations to other subjects in the school 3) Specifics of psychologist's work at school - critical points 4) Psychological problems of pupils' motivation in the educational process and the role of SP Teaching model - 1x4hour block seminar per semester + the possibility of meeting for the exam Block seminar: - will take place on the 1st of March 2024 from 9:00 to 12:15, room 213 The topic will include - "Context of my research project with the topics of school / educational psychology". The aim is to discuss the topics for the exam.

Learning outcomes
School psychology is a field that is developing dynamically and draws on current scientific knowledge, as well as on the many years of practical experience of school psychologists, whose number has been growing in the Czech Republic for a long time and who address a wide range of topics. The focus of the course will be on expanding students' theoretical knowledge in the field of school psychology with practical overlap. The graduate of the course will have an idea of the methods used and current topics of school psychology in the Czech and foreign context.
Knowledge of contemporary concepts, their psychological aspects in training, learning and teaching Knowledge of the status and position of the teachers, the content of the work, role in managing the class Knowledge of diagnostic and support methods and approaches for pupils with special educational needs
Prerequisites
-completed MA psychology -admission to doctoral degree in internal or combined form

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Participation in lectures, demonstration of knowledge, understanding and application of lessons learned-skills test.
