Learning outcomes
Course Aims: To introduce students to the fundamentals of project management and the terminology used, to lead them to understand the scope of project management and thinking, their benefits and potential applications. To guide students through the preparation and implementation of a project to its evaluation. Explain the basic methods and techniques of project management and practice them in the preparation of specific project documentation. Students will choose one specific project to plan, implement and then evaluate. The project documentation must be prepared according to the applicable methodology (IPMA, PRINCE 2, etc.). At the end of the course, students present their project. Lecture content: 1. Introduction to project management, project management approaches and methodologies. 2. IT tools for project planning and management 3. Project life cycle 4. Pre-project phase: SWOT analysis 5. Pre-project phase: project logical framework 6. Pre-project phase: Stakeholder analysis 7. Project Initiation 8. Project Planning: Activities and Outputs, Time and Resources, Risks, Communication 9. Project implementation and closure 10. Post-project phase
