Course content
The students receive a substantial training and then carry out the specific work placement activities (first under supervision of their colleagues and later on their own).

Learning outcomes
The Dutch Department offers in close co-opereation with the Belgian foundation Orde van den Prince, Division Diest the practical work placements for students in two Belgian companies. One of the participating companies is Toyota Parts Centre Europe in Diest. The work placements are financed and carried out within the framework of the LLP/Erasmus programme. A representative of the OvdP foundation is a member of the selection committee. During the selection procedure the motivation of the applicants, their work experience, study results and the Dutch language skills (minimal level B1 - CEFR) are being taken into account. The chosen candidates work three months during the summer holidays either at the Customer Support Department or the Logistics Department of the company. They receive a certificate from the company after finishing the work placement activities successfully and they are obliged to hand in a report in Dutch (minimum 5 pages) concerning the work placement to the co-ordinator at the Dutch Department.

Prerequisites
The applicants are being chosen by the members of the selection committee which consists of the representatives of the Dutch Department and the Belgian foundation Orde van den Prince, Division Diest. During the selection procedure the motivation of the applicants, their work experience, study results and the Dutch language skills (minimal level B1 - CEFR) are being taken into account.

Student performance, Dialog, Systematic Observation of Student, Seminar Work, Certificate of Graduation of Internship, Final Report

In addition to the minimally requested target language competences (B1-CEFR) the Dutch Departments requires the students to behave in a representative way during the practice working period, have an outstanding work moral, responsible attitude towards the given tasks and also showing the willingness to learn new things.
