Learning outcomes
|
The best way of lerning is learning through the means of authentic, first-hand experience. That is why the students are not only being stimulated to seach for the possibilities to organize traineeships on their own, but the Dutch Department, Faculty of Arts, Palacký University Olomouc organizes such traineeships-programmes also in close co-operation with its Dutch and Flamish partners. Preferably the traineeships should have a (close) connection to the topic of the final thesis the student is working on. The basic condition is that the traineeship must provide the student with enough opportunities to apply his or her Dutch language skills. After finishing the trainee period the student will obtain from the employer a confirmation of the traineeship including a report on the student's skills and behaviour. The student must hand a copy of these documents together with his/her own report concerning the traineeship (minimally 5 pages of Dutch text) within 1 month after finishing the traineeship.
The students wishing to run for the traineeship must prior to starting the traineeship successfully finish at least their second year of the bachelor study of Dutch and have the target language competences at least on the B1-level CEFR.
