Main emphasis is being put on working with authentic texts present primarily within the textbook ff NL leren - Module 2B in combination with the textbook Nederlied and additional materials. week 1) introduction, reflecting on the knowledge obtained during the previous semester, poem Het licht is heel stil, poem Ik weet, poem De visser van Ma Yuan; week 2) song Het is een nacht; week 3) expressing politeness in Dutch, song Liedje van de luie week, video Studiereis naar Nederland - part 2; week 4) song Suzanne; week 5) safety instructions, video Studiereis naar Nederland - part 3; week 6) poem Schoolbord, poem Fiets, song Sonja van Veen; week 7) poem We komen naar jullie, poem Als niemand luistert, various jobs; week 8) song Morgen is ze weg; week 9) song Parijs, Berlijn, Madrid; week 10) poem Marc groet 's morgens de dingen, poem Bekentenis, sorts of vegetables/fruits; week 11) song De vluchteling; week 12) song De Reiziger; week 13) conclusion, repetition concerning the final test.

Learning outcomes
|
The course "Dutch in Authentic Texts 2" (target language level A2 - CEFR) is the follow up course on the course "Dutch in Authentic Texts 1" and it adds to and extends the language and cultural knowledge of the students which they obtain within the framework of the course "Dutch Grammar 2". This is being done through the means of various addional materials which are systematically being used for the purposes of extending vocabulary, improving students pronounciation and intonation, as well as identifying and implementing the Dutch grammar rules in practice. To the typical course activities belongs the systematic usage of the Dutch songs for the foreign language purposes. Additionally, poems in Dutch presented in the textbook ff NL leren - Module 2B are being introduced and analyzed within this course. These elements are according to the needs of the students being enriched with actual information and materials concerning the discussed matters available at public sources and concentrating on thematic extention of the vocabulary.
Building up Dutch vocabulary, basic lexical and oral skills.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Didactic Test
Being present at the lessons, active participation in the educational activities, carrying out the homework tasks systematically. Passing the final written test on the minimal level of 60 %.
