This course is an introduction to the methods of analysing texts. In a series of lectures, the students will be introduced to the complex text and semiotics analysis. In follow-up seminars, a range of media texts will be studied closely.
Students are familiar with major methods and techniques of chosen types of textual analyses in the contexts of social sciences. Student are able to apply methods of textual analysis when analyzing current cultural and media issues. |
