1. Selection of content and format for periodicals, print media, and flyersindividual presentation 2. Design (layout) of the front page and subsequent pageseditorial pages, advertising pages, masthead, and color selection 3. Graphic design of newspaper and magazine pages and its relationship to contentindividual presentation 4. Typographic formatting of texts, font selection, newspaper headlines 5. Text wrapping into columns 6. Graphic design of columns 7. Photographs, drawings, graphs, and tables and their integration into print pagesindividual presentation 8. Ongoing page adjustments, text repositioning, and additional editing of photographs and charts 9. Assembling print pages and supplements, and their placement 10. Finalization in DTP and preparation for printing 11. Presentation and evaluation of one's own work 12. Presentation and evaluation of one's own work 13. Final class session

The course is designed as a practical workshop in which students in real terms verify the existing theoretical knowledge and skills that are necessary for creating newspapers and magazines.
Students will acquire practical and professional competences and routines that anable them to work independently in given area and the students will be prepared for the practical part of the final examination. |
