Learning outcomes
|
This course offers elementary overview of Ukrainian grammar, pronunciation and orthography. Emphasis is put on conversational skills and practising dialogues on given general topics, as well as written and oral translations of simple constructions. Classes also cover chapters from Ukrainian culture and literature.
Students will reach the A2 or B1 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. They will learn how to talk about various topics and understand more difficult texts.

Prerequisites
|
The wish to study the Ukrainian language, knowledge of Czech of at least C1 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages.

|
Oral exam, Written exam
* Attendance, max. 2 absences * Doing the assigned homework, active participation in conversation * Talking about selected texts and topics (to be specified during the course) Essay * Translation of a specialized text
