Course content
1. How to use free time? 2. Ukrainian of old and present times. 3. Heading towards Europe. 4. Music in my life. 5. Film and theatre (not only Ukrainian). 6. Ukrainian festivities. 7. Healthy life style. 8. School system in Ukraine. 9. Fashion, art. 10. Environment, ecology. 11. Economy. 12. Revision. 13. Credit test.

Learning outcomes
This course offers elementary overview of Ukrainian grammar, pronunciation and orthography. Emphasis is put on conversational skills and practising dialogues on given general topics, as well as written and oral translations of simple constructions. Classes also cover chapters from Ukrainian culture and literature.
Students will reach the A2 or B1 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. They will learn how to talk about various topics and understand more difficult texts.
Prerequisites
The wish to study the Ukrainian language, knowledge of Czech of at least C1 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Oral exam, Written exam
