Course content
1. Shopping, time expressions. 2. Application and its formal attributes. 3. Post office, writing a letter, filling forms, genitive of masculine nouns. 4. Personal characteristics, outer and inner characteristic of parents and friends. 5. Days of the week, working days, weekend. 6. - 7. Names of the months, seasons of the year, further declension of nouns. 8. Housing, flat, Ukrainian surnames. 9. - 10. Telling a story, Ukrainian accents, prepositions. 11. - 12. The imperative in Ukrainian, basic orthography. 13. Credit test.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook)
Learning outcomes
This seminar continues in presenting the Ukrainian language at an advanced language and social level. Declinations and conjugations are studied and practised on shorter texts covering various topics. Classes include model dialogues and phrases useful for tourism and travel.
Students develop their vocabulary and grammatical knowledge. Learn to communicate in various situations and learn some basic facts about Ukraine
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of Cyrillic alphabet and some facts about Ukraine is expected.
