Course content
|
Key concepts of lexis dynamics. Basic dynamic processes and development of contemporary Ukrainian language, reasons and consequences. Neologism, new female nomination, neo-feminization. Language system, stnadard language, new female nomination. Stimulating and restrictive factors of neo-feminization. Processes of neo-feminization in Ukrainian and other Slavonic languages (Polish, Russian, Czech).

Learning outcomes
|
Foreign language exam assesses deeply postgraduate students´ language skills; it follows the rules of respective departments which are on the FF UP web pages. Postgraduate students prepare individually for their foreign language attestation. Nevertheless, they can enrol to the regular pre-graduate language courses and they can take an advantage of individual consultation.
The successfully passed examination approves the PhD candidate´s ability to process a scientific text and s/he can discuss his/her findings at the level B2 according to CEFR.

Postgraduate students prepare for their exam in a foreign language individually. They can also attend pre-graduate language courses and they can take an advantage of individual tutorials with examiner. Specific requirements of each language - conditions of preparation, its completion, dates and how to submit the reports, exam registration.
