Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this conclusive course of Ukrainian language for non-Ukrainian philologists is to further improve the basic knowledge acquired in the previous course of this serial: orthoepia, orthography, grammar, stylistics and vocabulary both in oral and written form. The course is primarily focused on conversation about common topics. We shall also dedicate part of our seminar to reading selected newspaper articles and also literary texts. Students will get partially familiar with various lexical strata of modern Ukrainian, especially with slang, archaisms, and borrowed words.
Students will reach the A2 or B1 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. They will learn how to talk about various topics and understand more difficult texts.

Prerequisites

The wish to study the Ukrainian language, knowledge of Czech of at least C1 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages.
