Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to present the students with the general profile of Slavonic sentence and the differentiation of present-day Slavonic languages according to specific types of sentences. The typology of a Slavonic sentence can be defined as an analysis of simple clauses with identical or similar models, whereby we shall pay attention to the principles of syntactic and semantic pattern according to which the Slavonic sentence is built, finding the contrastive characteristics of Slavonic languages and finding the specific features of each Slavonic language. The aim of this course is therefore not only to understand more profoundly the structure of Slavonic sentence as a system, but also to find the typological differences in the structure of simple clauses in each Slavonic language.
A deeper understanding of the principle of Slavonic sentence as a system.
