Documents, insurance, money. Verbs of motion. 7. Traditional holidays. Housework. Verbs of completing and non-completing. 8. Excuses and wishes. Etiquette at school and in public. The subjunctive mood. 9. Talking about the weather. Forecast. Adjectives and adverbs. 10.Technology and communication. Computer and smartphone, social networks. Verbs with 3rd fall. 11. Fashion yesterday and today. Clothes. Communication in the shop. Expressions of praise and offers. 12. Moving. Names of services and crafts. 7th fall and verbs and 7th fall conjugations. 13. Learning outcomes
|
This course is designed to provide Ukrainian students with the basics of Czech grammar, elementary vocabulary for everyday school and life situations. The seminar provides both theoretical knowledge and practical excercises of individual grammatical phenomena and topics. The seminar is designed for beginners and helps them to acquire the language more quickly. Students can then better master subjects taught in Czech.
An ability to understand analytically and critically the linguistic description of gender stereotypes in language and communication.

No knowledge of Czech language is required.

Student performance
Regular attendance, doing the assigned tasks, consulting dictionaries and other sources.
