Course content
01. Free time activities. 02. Summer sports: football, volleyball, athletics. 03. Winter sports, skiing, ice-skating, hockey. 04. Winter and summer Olympic games. 05. Health and sickness. 06. At the doctor?s. At the dentist?s. Pharmacy. 07. Healthy life style and civilization diseases. 09. Weather and folk saying. The climate of Ukraine. 10. Agriculture and life in the countryside. 11. Religion and social problems. 12. Criminality and judicial system in Ukraine. 13. Credit test.

Learning outcomes
This is a concluding course from the cycle of conversational courses and its aim is to broaden the students? vocabulary concerning selected everyday topics: free time activities, sport, health, illness, weather and its impact on agriculture and socio-cultural problems in Ukraine. The course shall enhance the communicative and language competence and the ability to talk correctly in Ukrainian. We shall work with audio-visual records and internet to stimulate and motivate the students.
An ability to talk on more advanced topics.
Prerequisites
A general knowledge of Ukrainian, B1-B2 level of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. This course follows up the JCK5 course.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Written exam
