1. Travel. Types of vehicles. 2. Travelling by bus and train. Book and purchase tickets. 3. Travelling by plane. Selection of the airline. Handling at airports. 4. Travelling on a ship. Cruises at sea. Seasickness. 5. Travelling by car, hitchhiking. Parking. Traffic rules violation. Accident. The garage. 6. Travel agency. Choosing the trip. 7. Accommodation at the hotel. Hotel types. Reservations. 8. City. The structure of the city and the population. Public transport. 9. Arriving in the city, train station, bus station, taxi. 10. Banks, ATMs, credit cards, exchange offices in the city. 11. City tour. Cultural monuments. Buying souvenirs. Refreshments. 12. Kiev-the capital of Ukraine. The most important places. 13. Credit test.

Learning outcomes
The course aims to further expand vocabulary and conversational skills for students based on these conversational topics. Selected texts naturally lead students to master new words and consolidate the vocabulary taught. Emphasised is the student?s individual work with the texts. They include model situations that allow practical application of the language. Students broaden their vocabulary discussed in the areas in conversation on a given topic.

Prerequisites
Practical knowledge of the Ukrainian stage A1 Single European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Oral exam, Written exam

* participation in exercises with the maximum number of absences per semester two weeks; * performance of assigned tasks; * Successful passing of written work
