1. Didactics of Russian language as a field of study. Categories in didactics. Target competences. Didactics of Russian language in a new education milieu. 2. Linguistic, psychological and pedagogical principles for Teaching Russian as a foreign language. Language portfolio. 3. Curricula and Framework Education Programmes. New textbooks and other teaching resources. 4. Didactic principles and their function in educational process. Methods, methodical concepts. 5. Language devices and speech competences. Relations between them. 6. Wordstock as an elementary language device. 7. Gramar of Russian, concepts: field of science x subject in school training. 8. Graphic and orthographic system of Russian. Training Cyrillic script. Issues related to learning Cyrillic alphabet. 9. Phonetics of Russian, issues related to learning Russian phonetics. 10. Issues of interference, its research and solution in case of language devices.

Learning outcomes
|
Didactics of Russian as a foreign language aims to provide students interested in teaching with a theoretical basis of a subject didactics (with respect to typological proximity of the languages) and with the basic skills needed for the profession.
Adopting and developing teacher´s essential skills, methods, techniques, principles.

Prerequisites
|
The course is open to students of a Mgr. degree study programme who intend to obtain Teaching Qualifications. Knowledge of the field corresponding to the given stage of study is presupposed.

Assessment methods and criteria
|

1) mastering the subject matter of the course, 2) passing the credit test, 3) a well-prepared and defended mini-presentation on a selected topic (dealing with one language device and one type of speech competence), 4) a file of preparatory materials and drafts for teacher-training lessons, 5) ability to operate technical teaching aids.
