Aesthetic milestones in the development of Russian prose. Comparative method, text link between the Russian literature XIX. and XX. century., context of Russian and world literature, artistic originality and literary tradition, paraphrasing poetry texts literature XIX. Century. in the context of literature XX. century.

Learning outcomes
|
This contrastive seminar examines mainly the development of Russian prose. Focus is on the interpretations that place classical Russian novel to the modern world prose. This course leads to the understanding of the overall meaning of the analyzed works and their place within the context of Russian and world literature. It also studies the issue of innovation methods and, on the contrary, sticking to the literary tradition, issues of originality and derivation.
Understanding the new reading Russian classics, new interpretations.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of the theory of literature, the historical context of Russian literature of the 19th and 20 century. Traditional interpretations of Russian classics.
