Course content
The aim of the course is to give students knowledge of contemporary young generation discourse in Russia. The course is taught by Russian lecturer. Topics are connected with life of Russia: problems of Russian young people, army, drugs, criminal situation and so on. The students will get up new expressions and slang used by Russian young generation.

Learning outcomes
This course aims to introduce present-day colloquial Russian language. The range of topics for conversation corresponds with actual events in Russia and Russian realia. Lectures outline the main changes in Russian language of last two decades. Focus will be on features of conventional expressions of jargon origin, nowadays largely spread in Russia. Exercises on vocabulary and phraseology common in language of today?s Russian youth helps the students master the language of their peers in nowadays Russia.
Knowledge of contemporary young generation discourse in Russia, knowledge of the changes in modern Russian.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of Russian, corresponding to B2 standard of the Common European Frame of Reference for Languages.
