Learning outcomes
This course is a part of the applied fundamental courses and is a methodological sequence of the previous course. Again the aim of the course is to exercise the language practically and to present the grammar rules and phenomena of the current Russian which are a necessary step for further studies of Russian both in the theoretical and practical aspects. We shall always focus on functional and comparative approaches; the comparison of Czech and Russian languages is important, so that we can point out the differences and eliminate the interference. The whole term is dedicated to the topic of Russian verb as the morphologically richest part of speech. In the first part we shall deal with the pragmatics and accentuation of the Russian verb, later we shall focus on the verbs of motion in Russian in comparison to Czech; in the second part we shall discuss the morphological categories and their specific features in both languages.
Understanding the flexion of the Russian verb, outline of morphological categories of the verb and their production.
