Course content
|
Depending on the individual agreement between the student and the advisor. The seminar should discuss the following problems: the topic selection and formulation of the aim, work with sources and search for relevant information, norms of citing, paraphrasing and bibliography, features of the specific-purpose text, work with text programmes, presentation of the thesis conclusions, etc.

Learning outcomes
|
Submitting a completed bachelor thesis of at least 40 standard pages, i.e. 72 000 signs, meeting all the requirements for the thesis: aim, methods, contents, structure, analysis, conclusion, summary and bibliography, as specified on the websites of the department of Slavic studies. The thesis can be written either in Czech or in Russian according to the choice of the student and the summary must have 5-8 pages and be written in the second language. In case of a linguistic topic dealing with an analysis of language material 300 entries are required. The thesis must be submitted within the deadline set by the study plan of the Russian philology section of the department for the current academic year in two hardcover copies with an electronic version on CD included in the copies.
Ability to elaborate philological texts, working with secondary special literature, ability to write scholarly texts.

Prerequisites
|
Knowledge of Russian of Upper Intermediate level, i.e. B2 level of European Frame of Reference for Languages.

Student performance
Submitting two chapters from the thesis, at least 25 standard pages. Regular consultation. Submitting the assignments.
