KSO/91APJ Polish linguistics 5 credits Czech, Polish Description of contemporary Polish language deevelopment. Terminology applied in the contemporary study of Polish. Contrastive study of contemporary Polish language. Linguistic image of world as one of the methodes in the Polish linguistics.

Learning outcomes
|
This course will provide an overview of development of Polish linguistics and its disciplines, research in Polish linguistics, important representatives, synthetic works and monographs, contribution of Polish linguistics to the European Slavonic studies.
This course puts focus on the content and methodology of linguistic issues.

|
Knowledge of linguistics at the level of pre-graduate students of Polish philology.

On aspects of language and style of contemporary Polish prose in comparison with the Czech, Russian or Ukrainian prose. The latest theories (terminology) and the research methods ? evaluation. Choice according to specialization. 2. The contemporary Polish poetry works in Slavic (Czech, Russian or Ukrainian) context. Choice according to specialization. 3. The latest theories in the contemporary Polish literary science in comparison with the Czech, Russian or Ukrainian literary science. Choice according to specialization. 4. The latest theories in the contemporary Polish linguistics in comparison with the Czech, Russian or Ukrainian linguistics. Choice according to specialization. 5. The eminent personalities of Polish literary science of the 20th and 21st century and evaluation of their contribution to the development of the Slavic / European literary science. Choice according to specialization. 6. The eminent personalities of Polish linguistics in the 20th and 21st century and evaluation of their contribution to the development of Slavic / European linguistics.
