The lectures and seminars acquaint students with the issue of Polish-Jewish co-existence from the past to the present.

Learning outcomes
|
This course provides an overview of Jewish culture and history in the Polish society and it comments on contemporary findings about the recent past through the prism of witnesses´ memories.
Interest in the issue, basic knowledge of Jewish culture.

Prerequisites
|
To be able to analitically process a report on a selected topic dealing with the history and culture of Jewish society; literate oral prezentation, use of secundary resources and Internet resources.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
Fulfilment of all assessment tasks during the semester. Presentation of one selected topic with a commentary and prepare handouts with the basic information and bibliographic references.
