Course content
In the lectures, the focus is put on specification of theoretical background and its application to the Polish literary texts.

Learning outcomes
The lectures will provide a basic overview of literary theory and its methodology.
To be familiar with the literary theory and its issues, to be able to comprehend at a high level a content of literary work, to comprehend literary-cultural relations.
Prerequisites
To be able to analyze a literary text, to be familiar with the literary theory and its issues.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Active attendance in seminars, fulfilment of all assessment tasks.
