Course content
|
The lectures will cover the history of Polish literature (in Czech) accompanied by some extracts dating from the 18th century until the Romanticism. Translations of Polish originals into Czech.

Learning outcomes
|
This course will cover the basics of Polish literature history from the 18th century until the Romanticism .
To be able to understand the content of literary works that are studied; to be able to analyze the literary texts that were read.

Prerequisites
|
Very good knowledge of Czech literature history in the European context - literatures of Slavic languages.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral exam
In order to receive credits, the students are required to attend actively seminars and to fulfil all assessment tasks (one report and partial assessment tasks, good result in the final test at the end of the winter and summer term), 80% attendance at lectures and participation in seminars. It is possible to excuse your absences. However, if they are too many, some extra work will be required.
