Course content
1. Description of a person, vocabulary - physical appearance, different types of adjectives. 2. Personality description, substantivized adjectives. 3. Adverbs, gradations of adverbs. 4. Travelling, means of transport, participales. 5. Favourite means of transport, pronouns declension. 6. - 7. Numerals and their declension, conjuctions. 8. - 9. Capital city. Particles and interjections. 10. - 11. Specific features of Polish syntax. 12. Revision. 13. Credit test.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming)
Learning outcomes
This follow-up course puts focus on the acquisition of more complex and more demanding grammar rules, spelling and orthoepy. Lexical exercises will help students to broaden vocabulary and to revise previously acquired vocabulary bank. Various types of exercises such as drilling, communicative and stylistic exercises will teach the students how to work on their own with the language. The course aims as well at reading of various types of texts containing new vocabulary in order to enrich vocabulary.
Students will acquire A2 level according to CEFR, they will learn accurate pronunciation, spelling, then reading and speaking on various topics.
Prerequisites
Interest in the Polish language, knowledge of Czech - C1 level according to CEFR

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam, Written exam

Attending seminars, two absences are permitted. To submit all assessment tasks, participation in discussions. Talking about selected topics (to be specified during the semester) Essay. Translation.
