Course content |
The course takes the form of presentations by the teacher, practical mastery of tools for translation and creation of film subtitles, and subsequent creation of your own subtitles for a selected film.

Learning outcomes |
The exercises are aimed at introducing audiovisual translation (film subtitle creation, work for dubbing and film festivals, border genres). It introduces the theory of audiovisual translation, its history and current trends. The course includes work with the programs ClickShow and SubtitleEdit.
Working with a computer, text editor, Polish and Czech keyboard. Experience in translating texts between Polish and Czech. |

A sufficient knowledge of the Polish and Czech language.
