The scope and specific structure of the course material are based on the students' language proficiency level. The content of this course is tailored depending on whether the students are native speakers or students who had no prior experience with the Polish language before beginning their studies. The course focuses on the intensive acquisition of vocabulary and basic grammatical structures used in typical everyday communication situations, taking into account Polish cultural context. Among other things, students will learn to express their opinions in Polish (or to agree with or disagree with someone else's opinion), to argue a point, and to reach a compromise. Authentic materials are used in class, allowing students to become familiar with contemporary language. The selection of topics encourages students to argue their points, contributes to the development of communicative competence, and opens up opportunities for students to express their views on various topics related to everyday life.
