Course content
The practical language course aims at functional mastery of spoken and written Polish with respect to Polish background information. The principal activity is speaking on a given topic.

Learning activities and teaching methods
Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
The objective of this course is to discuss on selected topics, continuous vocabulary enriching with respect to the contemporary variants of Polish and background information about Poland.
Standard communication skills, knowledge of Polish grammar and vocabulary - level B1.
Prerequisites
Basic communication skills. The course is not intended for students whose native language is Polish and who are not studying the study programs of the Polish Section of the Department of Slavonic Studies at the Faculty of Arts.

Assessment methods and criteria
Analysis of linguistic, Written exam

Good results in partial assessment tests, 80% attendance.
