Course content
In this course, the focus is put on the practical training of syntax. Consolidation of spelling: punctuation, capital letters and abbreviations. Numerals. All phenomena are compared with the Czech language.

Monologic Lecture(Interpretation, Training), Dialogic Lecture (Discussion, Dialog, Brainstorming), Work with Text (with Book, Textbook), Activating (Simulations, Games, Dramatization)
Learning outcomes
Systematic overview of Polish language structure compared to the Czech one, theoretical background of contemporary Polish linguistic system and practical exercises.
Standard communication skills and knowledge of Polish grammar.
Prerequisites
Basic communication skills. The course is not intended for students whose native language is Polish and who are not studying the study programs of the Polish Section of the Department of Slavonic Studies at the Faculty of Arts.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

80% attendance, good results in partial assessment tests, final test.
