Learning outcomes
|
The course introduces students to the most important works and artists of Polish visual culture from the Middle Ages to the present times with the focus on important personalities of the 20th and 21st centuries. Prerequisites
|
Interest in Polish culture, history and visual arts. Basic knowledge of Polish language, ability to work with Polish information sources.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance, Written exam
Approximately 3 times per semester, prepare a 15-minute presentation on the selected artist or work using electronic resources (Google Arts & Culture, museum websites, videos, virtual tours, online databases and archives). Successful completion of the final knowledge quiz. A minimum of 80% participation in class.
