Course content |
This course will cover the topic of translation methods from theoretical and practical point of view by means of translating literary texts - prose, drama, essay.

Learning outcomes |
The course aims at preparing students for a literary text analysis, to make them understand its specific features and to familiarize them with the translation methods.
To be able to analyze a literary text, understand its specific features and translate it from a source language in the target language. |
Prerequisites |
Standard knowledge of Polish and Czech.

Written exam
Students are required to submit partial translations on time; 80% attendance. |
