This course provides an overview of important periods of Polish movie: phenomenon of "Polish Avant-Garde Film" (1956-1963) and the latest production after 1989.

In this course, the focus is put on the history of Polish cinematography from its beginnings to the 1960s and from the second half of the 20th centruy to the present.
