Learning outcomes

The course is taught in Czech. The course aims at introducing the students to selected topics in Cultural Anthropology of American culture and society, covering such topics as migration, minorities, religions, colonialism, cultural memory, cultural idnetity, national history, etc.
The course is taught in Czech. After the successfull completion of the course students are able to describe selected topics American society and culture from the perspective of Cultural Anthropology, clarify selected topics American society and culture from the perspective of Cultural Anthropology, discuss selected topics American society and culture from the perspective of Cultural Anthropology.
