Course content
1. Time-management as a part of psycho hygiene. 2. Organization of time-management. 3. Eisenhower´s principle of time-management. 4. Time thieves and other mistakes in time-management. 5. Methods of time-management. 6. Assessing the power curve, working day snap. 7. Time-management of the fifth generation - SOUSTO method. 8. Effective meetings, correspondence and telephone calls management. 9. The role of assertiveness in time-management. 10. Stress management, basic stress situations, stress map, stage fright. 11. Resting and relaxing, anti-stress exercises, sleep, principles of a good sleep. 12. Burn-out syndrome, prevention, risk factors, relationship to TM.

Learning outcomes
To acquaint students with basic terms and assumptions of time and stress management. To present findings focused on strengthening of mechanisms of effective time management, understanding one's own productivity curve, identification of mistakes and time thieves, the ability to set priorities and goals, turn down inadequate demands andto delegate. To teach students how to create their own map of stress and to realize the necessity of relaxation and rest for one's own productivity.
Student explains the Pareto´s rule in the context of time-management. Student names and characterizes time-management methods. Student defines the time thieves and mistakes in time-management. Student describes the importance of assertiveness in time-management. Student knows the expert literature of the discipline. Student can set the power curve. Student describes the SOUSTO method and explains its using. Student can fulfil the working day time snap and find his/her own time thieves. Student can create his/her own stress map. Student masters quick relaxation Student is able to use gained knowledge and skills to organize work and time. Student is able to assess priorities, goals, delegate and refuse disproportionate demands. Student uses time-management as a part of his/her psycho hygiene.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral exam

Active attendance in lessons, sending the correspondence task by the term mentioned above, and working out the observation sheet Individual working day snap: five working days - see the instructions in EDIS. In case of absence. 1. hand in the correspondence task and the working days snap by the set date, 2. hand in a written text - analysing the topic of the burnout syndrome or stress management on at least three A4 pages and using at least three sources without internet and the study material; one part of the text is the correct form of the sources list, it is possible to use sources out of the recommended list. Send via EDIS by the 30th of May.
